Device Settings

Configure and customize your drone settings for optimal performance.


Overview

Device Settings allow you to:

  • Configure flight parameters
  • Set safety limits
  • Customize controls
  • Manage firmware
  • View device information

Accessing Device Settings

  1. Navigate to Devices
  2. Select a device from the list
  3. Click Settings or the gear icon

General Settings

Device Information

View and edit basic device info:

Device Naming

Give your device a recognizable name:

  1. Click Edit Name
  2. Enter new name
  3. Click Save

Altitude Limits

Safety Settings

Return-to-Home (RTH)

Configure automatic return behavior:

Geofencing

Enable/Disable Geofencing

Toggle geofence restrictions:

  1. Navigate to Safety > Geofencing
  2. Toggle Enable Geofencing
  3. Configure boundary settings

Custom Geofence

Create operational boundaries:

  1. Click Create Geofence
  2. Draw boundary on map
  3. Set altitude limits
  4. Save configuration

Firmware Management

Checking for Updates

  1. Navigate to Settings > Firmware
  2. Click Check for Updates
  3. View available updates

Installing Updates

  1. Click Download on available update
  2. Wait for download to complete
  3. Click Install
  4. Do not power off during installation

Ensure adequate battery level (>50%) before installing firmware updates.

Firmware History

View installed versions:

  • Current version
  • Previous versions
  • Update changelog

Default Settings

Reset to Defaults

Reset all settings to factory defaults:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Reset
  2. Click Reset to Defaults
  3. Confirm action

This will erase all custom settings. This action cannot be undone.

Export Settings

Save your configuration:

  1. Click Export Settings
  2. Save configuration file
  3. Use to restore or apply to other devices

Import Settings

Apply saved configuration:

  1. Click Import Settings
  2. Select configuration file
  3. Review and confirm

Troubleshooting

Settings Not Saving

  • Check internet connection
  • Verify device is online
  • Try refreshing the page

Settings Not Applied

  • Reconnect to device
  • Restart device
  • Update firmware

Calibration Failed

  • Ensure flat, stable surface
  • Move away from metal objects
  • Follow on-screen instructions carefully
